Summary :
Apple is looking for a world-class Thin Film Transistor (TFT) panel design engineer to design, develop and launch the next TFT technologies for the portable, laptop and desktop displays in Apple products.
The TFT panel design team is responsible for delivering the advanced TFT panel designs and technologies to enable the world’s best display performance in Apple products.
Individual will serve as a focal point in architecting and developing the total TFT pixel and panel designs for mass production.
This includes TFT pixel / control circuit simulation, circuit layout / optimization, whole panel architecture / simulation, and co-existence simulations with other components in Apple products.
Key Qualifications :
Strong command of Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog / digital circuit design)- Experience with SPICE / Cadence modeling and simulation required- Experience / in-depth technical knowledge of displays or related electronics preferred- Experience in display pixel, gate driver designs preferred- Understanding of Thin-Film Transistors and panel process preferred- Experience in characterizing panel optical and electrical performance preferred- Experience in designing and manufacturing high-volume display products is preferred- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
