Job Summary :
Manages the daily operations of a production area to meet volume, cost, waste, and quality standards. Organizes work schedules, staffing needs, and production sequences to optimize productivity.
Monitors production activities, identifies process issues, troubleshoots causes, and proposes solutions. Recommends enhancements to improve efficiency and safety.
Provides or arranges staff training and assists in onboarding new personnel. Ensures compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Assign work based on the production schedule.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are completed daily.
- Provide feedback on work performance.
- Communicate clear instructions.
- Monitor production quality and quantity.
- Report daily results and issues verbally and through written reports.
- Identify and troubleshoot production equipment issues.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Maintain the Operational Equipment Effectiveness percentage (OEE%) at or above the budgeted goal.
- Maintain the equipment scrap rate percentage at or below the budgeted goal.
- Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained above the standard set by Inventory Control.
- Understand and use the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to ensure equipment functions at expected levels.
- Perform time and attendance duties daily to ensure records are accurate.
- Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively.

- Ability to identify inventory transaction issues and correct them.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, occasionally stressful environments.
- Precise adherence to written and verbal directives.
- Flexibility to adjust to production requirements.
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 Years of industry / individual contributor experience.
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of standing and / or sitting at a workstation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Shift Schedule : Monday-Friday, 3pm-11 : 30pm
