Purpose of Job
Provide effective Leadership to all Warehouse Associates to ensure the FC will meet or exceed all established goals. Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly planning and performance of the FC.
Responsible for the Supervisor of assigned shifts, hours and shifts will flex with the needs of the business.
- Location : 14260 Knox Way, , Richmond, V6V 2Z7
- Status : Full Time - Monday to Friday - 1pm to 9 : 30pm
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors, coaches, and counsels all FC Associates, accountable for the development of Associates through training and mentoring.
- Responsible for the development, presentation and implementation of all performance reviews and performance improvement plans.
- Involved in any recruitment requirements including interviewing and decision making in conjunction with the FCM and Human Resources.
- Development and execution of daily and weekly action plans to meet Fulfillment Centre performance expectations. Establish targets and motivate Associates to achieve the FC goals.
- Analyze and investigate operational procedures; works with the FCM to make improvements where appropriate and execute the changes.
- Accurate communication and implementation of Company policies and procedures, and follow up to ensure Associate compliance.
- In conjunction with the FCM, assist with the creation of a succession plan for your FC.
- Required to communicate effectively with various internal sources to resolve warehouse inventory and service issues.
- Ensure all Health and safety guidelines are enforced and concerns resolved.
- Demonstrate professional customer service skills when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Ensure housekeeping standards and equipment maintenance.
- Act as a Corporate Citizen, representing the FC and Staples in a positive and professional manner. Responsible for customer facing, giving tours, and acting as point person for the FC to guests and visitors.

Qualifications
Recommended Qualifications
Experience :
- Minimum of three (3) year experience as a Warehouse Associate; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
- Previous lead and / or supervisory experience required.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker. Ability to become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment.
Education :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required
