About Us : Woodhull Medical Center is a community hospital and one of the 11 acute care facilities of the New York City Health + Hospitals.

Affiliated with New York University School of Medicine, we are situated in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, bordering Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant, and Greenpoint, and serve a diverse patient population.

Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated OB / GYN physician to join our growing full-service hospital-based practice.

The ideal candidate will deliver the highest quality care while adhering to all medical standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include :

• Providing both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Covering labor and delivery.
• Performing surgical procedures.
• Supervising midwives, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.

Department and Facilities : Our OB / GYN is a full-service department, with 16 attending staff members, including specialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine, fellowship-trained Family Planning, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

We offer state-of-the-art facilities, including an Obstetrics Ultrasound and Antepartum Testing Unit and a Da Vinci robot, available for training.

Woodhull Medical Center is known for its pioneering midwife-attending collaborative model, which has achieved notable success in clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.

NYC Health and Hospitals is currently implementing this model at its other locations, and expanding across NYC Health + Hospitals facilities.

• Competitive base salary : $240,000 - $270,000 for a three-and-a-half-day work week and four in-house calls per month.

Compensation Information :

$240000.00 / Annually - $270000.00 / Annually
