Agile Scrum Master

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL, Plano, TX, and Charlotte, NC.

This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Integration BA for NetReveal replacement of Accuity
• Maintain Sev1 SIAI commitment for data lineage documentation for the capture, use and transport of AML attributes
• Review all quarterly / BAU changes and update lineage. NetReveal replacement and FRB MRIA 4 (inadequate Governance and Controls of GFC Systems and Data) will be a significant effort in 2025
• Coach and guide 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on ensuring the teams meet their product deliverables within the agile framework
• Contribute, as an active and engaged member, to the broader Pega Technology global scrum master community
• Responsible for Scrum adoption and ensure organization & teams are living Agile & Scrum values. Act as a role model for servant leadership
• Responsible for facilitating Scrum events
• Proactively address systemic impediments and prevent those from becoming blockers
• Coach individuals and teams in delivering to their highest potential
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with PO & stakeholders in driving success behaviors and team metrics
• Partner with PO for backlog refinement and prioritization
• Identify skills and competencies needed to become high performing teams
• Collaborate with engineering manager and stakeholders for setting up & clarifying goals
• Help individuals and teams in achieving their goals and shield them from distractions
• Foster creativity, drive innovation and improve efficiency of development teams
• Implement a process to ensure Client identify data lineage updates prior to releases

Requirements :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar field
• CSM / PSM(I) certified or above
• At least 2 years of full time Scrum Master experience
• 6 plus years of software development / maintenance experience, along with the scrum master responsibilities preferably in a product development company
• Facilitative - Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
• Assertive - Must be able to ensure Agile / Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls
• Situationally Aware - Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management
• Enthusiastic - Must be high-energy
• Continual improvement - Must continually be growing one's craft, learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team
• Attitude of empowerment
• Must be able to lead a team to self-organization

• Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust

Desired skills :

Able to multitask and manage multiple deliverables across technology

Pay Range : $68.38 - $76.38
