About The Position
Job Title : Speech and Language Pathologist Job Specialty : Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 8 hours, 32-40 hours scheduled Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year in Speech-Language Pathology, with long-term care or rehabilitation experience License : Valid and unrestricted state license Certifications : CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) certified, AHA certifications must be active Must-Have : - Valid driver's license- Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care- Active Missouri license or compact license at the time of submission Job Description : Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations- Design communication treatment plans that enhance understanding and expression for individuals- Lead and guide the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services- Ensure services comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as established facility policies- Provide appropriate care and services to residents
