About the Role : Position : Caregiver Location : Glen Park at Long Beach Type : Full-time Shift : PM Shift (2 : 30 PM to 11 : 00 PM) NOC Shift (11PM to 7 : 30 AM) AM Shift (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM) Compensation : Starts at $18 / hour Benefits : Dental insurance Health insurance Retirement plan Vision insurance 1 Week-Paid Vacation after 1 year in tenure Responsibilities : Provide support to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, etc.
Assist in serving meals and snacks at designated times. Participate in and support the Activities Program. Attend monthly and quarterly in-services offered by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year (eight hours per quarter).
Keep CPR and First Aid training current. For residents with developmental disabilities : Align performance with the Program Design.
Undergo specialized training for working with these residents. Achieve the objectives outlined in each resident’s Individual Program Plan (IPP).
Maintain detailed progress notes towards accomplishing the IPP objectives.
