Position : Office Assistant
Pay Rate : $21.00 - $23.00 / hourly
Location : Union City, CA
Schedule : Part-Time - 7 : 00am - 11 : 00am Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday.
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to the operations team
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain inventory and place orders as needed
- Coordinate and assist with project management tasks
- Research and prepare information for internal and external use
- Monitor and address company communication (phone, email, social platforms)
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Education :
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Qualifications :
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar)
- Experience with phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments effectively
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Experience in event planning or project coordination is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
