Patient Types :
Adults with a variety of diagnoses including CHF, ARF, hepatitis, ESLD, DM, DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, GI bleed, syncope, chest pain, pulmonary emboli, respiratory failure, COPD, arrhythmias, seizure disorders, overdose, and delirium tremors

PCU / Tele - 1 : 4 (Days & Nights)
Required Certifications :
RN (PCU & Tele) : BLS, ACLS
Required Education :
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Tele RN :
Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain / tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion / management, insulin drips - non-DKA only, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance;
Effective verbal and written communication, thorough physical assessments, strong clinical judgement, professional bedside manner, strong team player, positive attitude, adaptability
