Responsibilities

  • Service Coordination :
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of brunch services, including table arrangements, buffet setups, and special brunch features.
  • Ensure all dining areas are prepared according to the establishment's standards and guest expectations.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of brunch items.
  • Staff Management :
  • Lead, train, and motivate servers, bussers, and support staff.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff members, ensuring clarity of roles and smooth operation.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and address any issues promptly.
  • Customer Service :
  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Communicate with guests throughout the service to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Operations Oversight :
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of brunch supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of service details, including guest counts, menus, and special requests.
  • Quality Assurance :
  • Inspect dining setups for accuracy, cleanliness, and visual appeal.
  • Ensure all food and beverage items are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperatures.
  • Conduct post-service evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in restaurant or brunch service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills : Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software.

Attributes : Detail-oriented and customer-focused.Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
