Sr. Java Developer

Job description Infosys is seeking Senior Java Developer. As a Java developer, you will be a key player in the ADM team to carry out application support and maintenance and minor enhancements work.

• This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design;
• play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty;

Required Qualifications : Candidate must be located at or within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ , Hartford, CT , Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area.

This position may require travel in the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

At least 4 years of Development experience on Java Lead and deliver through hyper agile scrum teams.Have knowledge of multiple niche / emerging technologies & languages (not limited to above requirements)Drive Innovation in Healthcare domain & SaaS platform Contribute to the design, implementation and architecture of software.

Strong Java, Java Script, SQL, Angular, Spring Boot, RESTful, Kafka, GitHubStrong working experience with any RDBMS database (Postgre SQL / MySQL) Experience working with any Frontend frameworks (Angular / React) Experience with TDD practices / frameworks (JUnit (Java) / Jest (React) / Karma / JasmineU.

S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications : Experience in core product development & support experience and leading a team of 8-10 Engineers & participating in Architecture council is preferred.

Knowledge of Cloud Implementation Azure, AWS, Kubernetes / Docker. Experience in developing & deploying Microservices, Data Modelling, Database Design, Tuning Design Parameters, Normalization, Solving Performance bottlenecks.

Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and understanding of OO concepts and design patterns.Experience in Middleware, Open-Source tools & technologies.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
