The Spokane Club is looking for Banquet Servers who are passionate about hospitality, have the love for service and are driven to genuinely make things better for everyone.
As Banquet Servers, this position will play an important role in the daily operations of the banquet facilities and other areas of the Food and Beverage Department.
This position will provide prompt, courteous and exceptional food and beverage service to banquet guests during banquet, catering and meeting events.
Ensure the highest quality of product and service standards while maximizing guest satisfaction and overall operational goals.
What you will be doing
- Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, and love to smile. Accommodating attitude while interacting with customers.
- Serves menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner and according to the banquet event order; times the service of courses to correspond with the dining pace of the guests.
- Clears table after service. Removes trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to kitchen for cleaning.
- Maintains cleanliness of banquet rooms, banquet hallways, storage, and service areas.
- Refresh rooms at break; remove dirty cups / glasses, cleans trash cans, replenishes water pitchers, replaces table cloths, etc.
- Complete physical set-up and / or breakdown, cleaning and clearing of banquet or catering function rooms, to include tables, chairs, props, centerpieces, audio visual equipment and platforms / stages according to banquet event order.
Stores all banquet items, furniture and equipment.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Performs pre and post-shift side work including set up condiments, stock service station, makes coffee, etc.
- Flexibility in schedule, to include working at nights, weekends and holidays; be able to multi-task; team-player; work in a fast-paced environment;
stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for extended periods of time during shift; and participate in safety and security practices.
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Friendly, fun, and radiate a positive attitude. Love the look, taste and smell of delicious food and beverage!

Benefits

Full-time employees will also accrue vacation based on hours work to a maximum of ten days per year and six paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experiences and / or training
- English language and professional communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situations to members and other employees of the organization.
- Basic math skills and problem solving abilities
- Valid Washington State Food & Beverage Permit and Class 12 or Class 13 Servers Permit
- The ability to meet the physical demands as listed below
- Previous banquet experience a plus
