Now looking to hire a passionate outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Nashua, NH! About the Role

As a Physical Therapist at Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise, you will provide quality, evidence-based and individualized programs of physical therapy that include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to help patients achieve optimal recovery and well-being.

Your caseload will be primarily orthopedic with a variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal diagnoses as well as vestibular and other conditions.

Your Typical Day

  • Provide direct patient care, evaluate functional needs and outcomes, and consult with other specialists. Review patients' functional needs and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Design and implement plans of care for patients based on a thorough assessment of potential development; Plans will include but are not limited to manual therapy, aquatic therapy, neuromuscular training, modalities and functional rehabilitation.
  • Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care
  • Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs; Promote patient's healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes·
  • Document patient care services via EMR
  • Direct the assistance of support staff as needed to achieve patients' functional goals
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops.
  • Provide direction and leadership to staff as required and act as a resource to promote physical therapy in the community

About You

  • Graduate of a CAPTE accredited school of physical therapy
  • Active or pending state license to practice physical therapy
  • Experience or interest in a geriatric physical therapy setting
  • Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages
  • Drive to continually learn and grow
