What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The Postdoc Associate will work with the team to develop photonic integrated circuits (PICs) based on silicon nitride and lithium niobate on insulator hybrid platform for biomedical imaging applications.
The Postdoc Associate will be mainly involved in the design and modeling of PICs rather than their microfabrication. The Postdoc Associate will also be involved in grant reporting and new proposal writing.

What We Require
- PhD degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics.
- 3-yr experiences in Lumerical, COMSOL, K-Layout, and L-Edit.
- 3-yr experiences in PIC design.
What You Will Need
Demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas is required : PIC, microwave photonics, and biomedical imaging.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Matlab, or Labview is advantageous.
- Experience with microfabrication is advantageous.
- Experience with FPGA programming is advantageous.
- Experience with machine learning is advantageous.
- Experience with Ansys Zemax OpticStudio is advantageous.
