Purpose
Assist with data entry, website editing, scheduling, email, and administrative tasks related to grants and contracts.
Responsibilities
Assisting with email and keeping track of deadlines and timely tasks for the Assistant Director. Updating data in online forms and databases .
Emailing and keeping track of incoming information and data collection. Making updates to websites. Assisting with scheduling for meetings.
Required Qualifications
High School graduation or GED. Experience with basic to advanced administrative work. Experience multi-tasking. Experience with detail-oriented procedures.
Experience following instructions. Experience providing excellent customer service. Experience working independently and as a team member.
Must have interpersonal skills. Must be dependable, reliable, responsible, motivated, resourceful, and versatile. Must have the required education, skills, and experience in order to perform the specific temporary assignment successfully.
Regular and punctual attendance is a must. Professional demeanor. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant administrative experience or high school graduation. Experience working in a higher education setting.
Experience with Define, FRMS, and Point Plus. Familiar with UT purchasing and accounting policies and procedures.

The work schedule is from 8 to 5 - to be discussed with the supervisor

Employment Eligibility :

Retirement Plan Eligibility :
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
