Gate Security Guards
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Gate Security Guards to work for a company based at the Port of Tampa, FL. In this job, you will be responsible for signing in visitors and employees, verifying credentials, and keeping a log of all visitors going in and out.
Pay Rate :
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule and hours :
Monday to Friday from 5 : 00 AM to 1 : 00 PM
required to work every other weekend.
Gate Security Guard Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect identification and credentials of all personnel and vehicles entering and exiting the port.
- Signing in visitors and employees that are coming into the facility
- Respond to security breaches or incidents, reporting them to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and visitor entries.
- Conduct regular patrols of the area to ensure safety and compliance with security protocols.
Gate Security Guard Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification preferred.
- 4+ months guard experience, no license required
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
