Experienced System Engineer - INTEL - TS/SCI with POLY REQUIRED

Position Description

This position is contingent upon customer requirements and / or their approval.

Serco supports the US Government customer on a long-term contract providing broad expertise in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management.

Our team provides business support and expertise to include tracking program status, monitoring cost, schedule and contract performance.

You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer to deliver business expertise with an emphasis on contracts, finance, and customer service.

In this role, you will :

• Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation.
• Develop system Architecture and system design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment / preparation of system engineering management plans, system integration, and test plans.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Hold ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $131,293.17 to $227,532.

46; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have :

• An active TS / SCI clearance with polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• A bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
