Shift : Nights, Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday 7 PM - 7 AM, Level 1 Trauma / OR / ICU, 3x12 Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Preferred - One year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty required by the hiring department.
License : ARDMS, ARRT, and / or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required must be current upon hire or advancement.
Certifications : AHA BLS
Must-Have :
- Knowledge of the techniques of diagnostic radiography
- Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment
- Ability to prioritize assignments
- Ability to assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Computer skills
Job Description :
- Operate standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
- Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and / or film output.
- Act as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and / or students.
- Participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills and become proficient in producing images in various modalities.
- Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the area of primary responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
