Alderson Loop is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Business Analyst to join a project with an enterprise client in the Energy space.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in requirements gathering, solution design, Salesforce configuration, and project management support.
This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful Salesforce implementations and ongoing system optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis :
- Conduct requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end-users.
- Analyze business processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prioritize requirements based on business value and technical feasibility.
2. Solution Design and Documentation :
- Design and document Salesforce solutions aligned with requirements and best practices.
- Create process flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure technical feasibility.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on proposed solutions.
3. Salesforce Configuration and Customization :
- Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards.
- Implement and maintain Salesforce integrations with external systems.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce governance and security standards.
4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) :
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with end-users.
- Document and track defects and issues identified during testing.
- Ensure all requirements are met and validated before go-live.
5. Training and Change Management :
- Develop training materials, including user guides and training videos.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with change management teams to ensure successful adoption.
6. Continuous Improvement :
- Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
- Analyze system usage and performance metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new Salesforce functionalities.
7. Project Management Support :
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Manage project documentation and communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and UAT.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
