Embrace this rewarding opportunity to enhance the well-being and quality of life for those in our care.Job Responsibilities- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities for clients, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming- Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, and needs to appropriate supervisors or healthcare professionals- Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records of clients' medication schedules- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary- Accompany clients to appointments and other outings, ensuring their safety and well-being during transportation- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up- Implement individualized care plans as directed by healthcare professionals- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and social well-being- Assist clients with mobility, including the use of wheelchairs, walkers, or transferring from bed to chair- Facilitate recreational activities and social interactions according to clients' interests and abilities- Respect clients' privacy and confidentiality in all aspects of care- Record and maintain accurate client care documentation and progress notes- Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed- Encourage and assist with client independence within their capabilities and care plan guidelinesJob Requirements- High school diploma or GED equivalent- Certification in CPR and First Aid- Previous experience in caregiving or a related role- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening- Physical ability to lift and assist patients as needed- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Compassionate and patient demeanor- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends- Reliable transportation- Knowledge of basic health care procedures- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain patient confidentiality- Basic computer literacy to document care in electronic health records- Capacity to work independently and as part of a teamBenefitsPay : $15.
