Role : Project Manager

Location : Tampa, FL. (Hybrid 2 days on-site)

Duration : 6-month contract

Pay Rate : Up to $50 / hr W2 (Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, LTD Insurance)

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive impactful, multi-dimensional projects within our organization.

This role will involve spearheading projects aligned with strategic business goals, and leveraging strong project management practices to ensure successful execution.

The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments and have a proven ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Multi-Project Management : Oversee a range of large-scale and multi-faceted projects simultaneously, creating project plans that align with stakeholder needs and budgetary requirements to meet desired outcomes.
  • Set Strategic Project Goals : Establish and communicate clear project objectives and cultivate a shared sense of purpose among team members, aligning their efforts with overall business impact.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Act as a liaison among key departments, including Business, Risk & Controls, Technology, and Senior Management, to define and deliver on project objectives and scope.
  • Risk Management & Issue Resolution : Anticipate project risks and proactively address potential problems; employ techniques to monitor and adjust complex activities, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Documentation & Reporting : Facilitate project meetings, prepare concise reports and project documentation, and keep stakeholders informed through regular updates on milestones, deliverables, and potential escalation points.
  • Enhance Process & Governance : Instill best practices in project management, continually assess and adapt project approaches, and maintain thorough documentation of lessons learned for future improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build and nurture productive working relationships across project stakeholders, fostering communication and trust to support seamless project execution.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : 6-10 years of project management experience, ideally in Risk & Controls, Regulatory Change, or Change Management environments.
  • Certifications : PMP or PROSCI Change Management certification preferred.
  • Project Management Proficiency : Demonstrated ability to create detailed project plans, set and manage milestones, and maintain project scope by assessing and adjusting to changing requirements.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : Skilled in root cause analysis and metrics-driven project oversight, with a proven track record of generating effective solutions to emerging issues.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, VISIO, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
