SigmaNEST is right now looking for an experienced and forward-thinking business leader to join us as Chief Financial Officer.
Your mission
When entering this central position, you’re responsible for our full financial scope and you advise us towards successful decision making while supporting our business development and growth.
Based on accurate results and grounded forecasts, you communicate and present brief and to the point information, and you transform numbers into strong business advantages.
An important part of your job is to ensure compliance with internal frameworks, as well as global laws and regulations. You also look at financial trends, risks and possible impacts to the business, and you explore market development and new digital solutions to make sure we stay on top of our game.
Continuous improvements is in our DNA and team spirit is key to our success. You will be part of a strong and collaborative finance community involving resources within SMF as well as within Sandvik Group.

You will be a valued member of the management team for the SigmaNEST Business Unit. This role will report to the President of SigmaNEST.
The location for this position is flexible but preferably in Cincinnati, USA. As we’re a global business, travel is normally required.
Your background and profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant finance or business degree, strong business acumen and a solid financial background.
You have at least ten years’ experience from financial operations both strategically and operationally - and you’re skilled in internal reporting, legal governance, yearly financial processes, and you’ve preferably been working with both financial and business control in your previous career.
Understanding of the software business or a similar recurring revenue business model is required.
Ability to take lead, drive change and create engagement is necessary, and you’re used to interacting with senior stakeholders and organizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Previous experience from M&As and business development is highly beneficial, and so is the ability to confidently advice and direct decisions-making at management level.
In addition, you have a strong set of communication skills and are used to presenting financial information to various target groups, which calls for excellent written and verbal skills in English.
