Logistics Finance Coordinator Position
Job Description
The Logistics Finance Specialist plays an essential role in ensuring smooth and constant communication between our internal customers and our trucking partners.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The main responsibility of this role is to provide solutions to our customers - receiving work orders, monitoring the delivery process, and gathering necessary information for timely, accurate billing.
Multitasking and working as a team is not only beneficial, but essential for this role.
Additional tasks of this position include, but are not limited to :
o Responsible for billing of accounts using the pricing quoted to clients within the time frame established o Ensuring that all payables are accurate and accrued for on file level.
o Reviewing the GP and confirming accuracy.
o Month end settlement and auditing to ensure all billing / payables are correct o Working with ops team to ensure all information needed for billing is filed in the system
o Auditing the company system for back up to send to customer as per customer request o Provide billing packets to customers
o Checking the company system for approval of invoice for payments o Advance Excel skills required

Skills and Experience
Ideal candidate will have :
- Relevant work experience not required, but beneficial.
- College education or equivalent experience a plus
- A willingness to learn and adapt to different systems and platforms
- Ability to multitask and be comfortable in a strong-paced environment
- Strong customer service background
- Professional demeanor and communication
- Work as a team to meet a shared goal
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
