Overview :

As an LPN Nurse, you play a crucial role in providing direct patient care in various healthcare settings. Your responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring patient health, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assessing and recording patient symptoms and vital signs
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Providing basic patient care and comfort measures
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions
  • Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Documenting patient information and treatment plans
  • Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and procedures
  • Participating in patient and family education
  • Contributing to maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Supporting patient rehabilitation and recovery
  • Adhering to legal and ethical guidelines
  • Assisting in emergency responses and crises
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Adhering to infection control protocols

Required Qualifications :

  • Completion of an accredited LPN program
  • Active LPN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
