Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in York, PA

$1750 or more per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hours Per Week : 50 + hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay : $0.6825 per Mile with 1100 to 2000 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay : $17.85 per Stop with 25 to 30 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay : $52.50 per night with 4 nights per Week
• Touch Freight Pay : $0.1785 per piece with 2000+ Tire pieces per Week
• Paid Training
• Loyalty Bonus : Pays You $500 at six months and $500 at one year
• Schedule : Monday - Friday, Home Weekends

• Deliver SOLO To : East Coast, Between Maine and North Carolina
• Route : Regional
• Tractor Type : Sleeper, Refrigerators and Inverters
• Trailer Type : Primarily Dry Van. Occasional - Reefer, Flatbed 28', 48', 53'
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight : Touch - Tires

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
