Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Litigation Associate to its energy & environmental regulatory group in the Charlotte office.
As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a growing office.
A Day in the Life
Located downtown, our Charlotte office overlooks a bustling metropolitan area with many attractions, including restaurants, entertainment, and nightlife.
You’ll be joining a growing and dedicated team handling a wide range of corporate financings and mergers & acquisitions in the energy, telecom, high-technology, and manufacturing industries.
You will assist the team with the development and financing of thermal and renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, waste-to-energy, natural gas and coal facilities, and natural gas pipelines.

We Know You
You have gained at least three years of meaningful experience in the areas of energy and environmental law where you have focused your practice on both regulatory matters and litigation before federal and state courts and regulatory bodies.
You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills as well as strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management and are ready to take the lead.
You are admitted in Good Standing to the North Carolina State Bar.
