Every role within our facility plays a vital part in providing the very best for our residents and patients, and we are needing to add someone to our dining team in Saint Joseph, MO.
The Food Service Director will provide all food service functions to ensure patients’ dietary needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Just as importantly, the Food Service Director will help ensure a positive and pleasant dining experience for the members of our care community.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements :
- High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred
- Prior health-care experience preferred
- 1 year prior food services experience preferred
- 1 year supervisor role
Specific Job Requirements :
- Planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Dietary Service Department in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, established facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates and vendors.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
- Dependable transportation necessary.
- Excited about serving our residents and making a difference.
License / Certification :
- Food Manager Certification, required
- Food Handler Certification (Required)
- ServSafe Certificate (Preferred)
