Salary : $100-110k

Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of software quality and functionality.

In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams to define test requirements, pinpoint and document defects, and confirm successful resolutions.

Your contributions will drive quality improvements and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deep understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, particularly in Agile environments that embrace continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD).
• Apply best practices to refine and optimize QA processes.
• Participate in the creation and review of use cases and functional requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects, then verify fixes in a timely manner.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA peers to define testing needs, map out test case scenarios, and design comprehensive test plans using established QA strategies.
• Develop and maintain detailed test cases, along with test artifacts such as data sets, validation rules, and testing devices.
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts, providing timely reporting of test outcomes.
• Lead test plan and test case review sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct various types of testing, including system, functional, negative, ad-hoc, integration, and database testing.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
• Document workflows and testing procedures to maintain transparency and consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing.
• Manual & Automated Testing
• 3 years of hands-on experience with database testing and reading / writing SQL queries.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum frameworks.
• Strong familiarity with the SDLC & STLC
• Proficient in user acceptance testing (UAT) and functional testing.
• Comfortable using TCM Tools
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.
• Ability to work with programming languages and write or interpret code (Java, PHP, Python,).
• Skilled in debugging and performing code merge reviews.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
