Type : Contract to hire with strong work performance

Worksite : Sanborn, NY
Wage : $18 / HR
Schedule : 2nd shift, M-F 10 : 30am-7 : 00pm
Job Description :
The Material Handler ensures materials are handled safely both physically and in accordance with company standards. Material Handlers work with supervision and team leads to meet daily warehouse / manufacturing goals.
Key job functions include, but are not limited to :
- Picking orders for inter-company and third-party customers
- Picking manufacturing orders and staging them at stations
- Receiving freight from inter-company and third-party suppliers
- Put away and handling of received material
- Packaging of parts for kitting cell building stock or third-party kits
- Following all safety requirements from the company report any safety concerns
- Following applicable internal procedures and work instructions
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months of material handling experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to use material handling equipment wave, pallet jack, etc.
Preferred Skills :
- Strong communication skills with co workers
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Mapics)
