Clinical Nurse Manager - Pre / Post Op Services - Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia

• This position provides the clinical leadership for the daily operational management of the Interventional Surgical Platform Pre and Post Operative Services (PACU & SPU).
• Serves as the primary clinical operational resource for the Interventional Surgical Platform assuming a leadership role in patient clinical care and throughput before and after their procedures.
• This position requires providing service to all pediatric, age 2-18, and adult populations, 18 years of age through frail elderly, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served.
• Current PA RN License required.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Trauma certification preferred.
• Two years of pre-procedural and post-procedural experience in two or more of these procedural areas - Same Day Procedure, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, GI Suite, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Pulmonary / Bronchoscopy experience required.
• Two years’ experience in a management / leadership nursing role preferred.
• Will consider candidates with Nursing Supervisor and Charge RN experience.
• Computer literacy required. Specialty Certification ASPAN preferred.

Monday - Friday, Full Time

10 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM.

Conditions of Employment

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check.

The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
