Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Vice President, Client Services for our Client Services team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community.

The primary purpose of this position is responsibility for all activities related to the strategic management and all payroll and billing compliance of the Client Services department.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these :

  • Develop and implement company-wide best practices for Client Services.
  • Direct the activities of the senior payroll management team and respective staff members.
  • Develops and controls all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization's payroll processing objectives.
  • Develops relationships with internal and external auditors, state, and federal agencies.
  • Analyze the corporate payroll strategy, planning, communications and marketing the payroll functions and related services.
  • Meet with senior staff to ensure satisfaction levels and identify opportunities. Monitor activity, making recommendations for adjustments to plans or services as needed.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Works closely with Credit and Collections department to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
  • Develops the budget process and makes budget recommendations.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with 3

party vendors.

  • Analyzes management reports on payroll costs.
  • Evaluates, tests, and implements any payroll software changes.
  • Prepare and administer performance evaluations to provide ongoing coaching and counseling of team members.
  • Oversee and monitor the department goal setting process and communicate goals for results.

Competencies we value for this role include ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, customer-service orientation, good skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment while staying even keeled, and an ability to motivate, coach, and constructively critique.

We also desire a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field, 10 years of related experience. Certified payroll professional certification, PeopleSoft experience, as well as prior staffing or service industry experience preferred.
