Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem

As a per diem non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician , you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry, and procuring drugs.
You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule : This position can work up to 19 hours per week and may also provide coverage "as needed" during the week. The schedule is subject to change based on hospital needs.
About the Facility : Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia which opened in 2013 , is a licensed 42-bed acute care psychiatric hospital providing inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adults ages 55 and older who are experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders and psychosis.
We also treat individuals who are suffering from other medical conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Patients are treated through a program of comprehensive assessments, medication evaluation and stabilization before a coordinated return to an appropriate environment.
We are a facility committed to excellence for the treatment of our patients. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy.

Required Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy, Pyxis experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office and Excel
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements :
PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
