Job Description

This position will direct and develop the Warehouse, Hostling and the Administrative teams for Hawaii Beer Neighbor Island Operations teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Strategic planning a tactical execution of approved plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the company’s operations.
  • Develops and directs management of the company’s Warehouse, Hostling and Admin teams that will ensure fast order processing, accurate inventory control, proper and timely receipt / stocking of goods, cost-efficient shipping direct to customers and effective processing of returns.

Manages human resources and systems related to warehouse and inventory control. Implements improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.

  • Manages Administrative team responsible for communicating with Sales team and shipping companies.
  • Develops and directs the management of the Port Driver / Hostler operations, including but not limited to all aspects of the company’s fleet, delivery procedures and operations.

  • Interacts regularly with the individual department heads to ensure that company’s operation priorities are aligned with total company direction.
  • Continually investigates and introduces process improvement measures and presents suggestions for consideration.
  • Responsible for inventory control of Hawaii Beer & NA product.
  • Manages the rental space in the warehouse.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Must have a CDL A License.
  • Minimum ten years of related experience in distribution environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), conflict resolution and / or mediation skills.
  • Proven experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments to promote collaboration and to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects related to facilities and personnel.
  • Experience in budget preparation and fiscal management.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and the general public.
