As a member of the Quality team, the Senior Quality Engineer will assist in planning, coordinating, and directing quality programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing duties either personally or through subordinate staff members and monitoring and maintaining IATF 16949 systems in compliance with the latest standards.
The Role :
Your work will include, but not be limited to :
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
- Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
- Investigate customer complaints regarding quality and implement corrective action and containment as required.
- Act as IATF16949 management representative.
- Relay customer requirements to personnel at the facility.
- Prepare monthly reports on Key Quality Measurables.
- Prepare budget of quality operations.
- Assure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.
- Follow ISO14001 and IATF16949 procedures / processes.
- Participate in plant recycling programs.
- Actively participate in self-directed work team model.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Contribute to the achievement of quality / management objectives by ensuring that quality policies, procedures, and processes are followed.

Your Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (B.S. / B.A.); five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases.
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Bonus If You Have :
- Previous experience launching a new plant.
- IATF lead auditor certification.
- JIT Quality management experience / working relationship with OEM customer.
- Engineering educational background.
- Previous experience working with Stellantis.
