Summary :
Lead the engineering team to support customer success by delivering high-quality optoelectronic devices. Drive automation, production efficiency, and process improvements.
Collaborate with sales, business development, and production teams for product design and contract execution. Report to the COO.
Key Responsibilities :
- Improve engineering practices for design, ECN, BOM, and product configuration.
- Oversee NPI and improvement projects.
- Establish and track KPIs for business success.
- Manage the capex budget for capability and efficiency enhancements.
Skills :
- Leadership in technical teams.
- Knowledge of optomechanical systems and optoelectronics.
- Experience with optical / mechanical design (SolidWorks PDM preferred).
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
- Experience in project management and capital planning.
Requirements :
- 15+ years in opto / electro-mechanical device engineering.
- 5+ years leading engineering teams.
- BS in Engineering. Familiarity with US export compliance, ISO9000, project management, and LEAN manufacturing.
