Description
Under direct supervision, disassembles and re-assembles pump systems including the cleaning of parts for the rebuild process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Disassembly, cleaning, or re-assembly of pumps. (Essential)
- Receive pumps, generate parts order, perform teardown and condition reports. (Essential)
- Documents all observations during disassembly and generates failure analysis reports. (Essential)
- Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used during for the service of pumps. (Essential)
- Checks power and hand tools for proper operation. (Essential)
- Ensure that all Procedures and Instructions are followed during the assembly process. (Essential)
- Communicate all issues to Leads / Supervisor on a timely manner. (Essential)
MODULE ASSEMBLY
- Re-assembly of pumps. (Essential)
- Test and trouble shoots assemblies and / or final systems. (Essential)
- May complete rework and quality testing on assemblies and / or systems. (Essential)

PERFORMANCE TEST
- Prepares accurate and consistent reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. Recommend solutions to technical problems. (Essential)
- Full Responsibility in performing equipment maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products. (Essential)
- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. (Essential)
- Test and troubleshoots assemblies and / or final systems. (Essential)
- Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used during for the service of pumps. (Essential)
- Checks power and hand tools for proper operation. (Essential)
- Ensure that all Procedures and Instructions are followed during the performance test process. (Essential)
- Communicate all issues to Leads / Supervisor on a timely manner. (Essential)
Other requirement :
- Complies with EBARA's safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
- Maintains clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara and customer safety policies. (Essential)

Qualifications
Competency Statement(s)
- The ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted from the floor to waist level.
- Ability to wear a respirator, hearing protection, gloves, and continually wear eye protection.
- The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and / or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions.
- The ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a cross cultural, demanding and dynamic environment.
- The ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat of harm to him / herself, others or property.

Education
High School, GED or Associates degree in Engineering, Electronics or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Zero (0) to Four (4) years electro-mechanical and field service experience, preferably in the semiconductor or related industry.
- Working knowledge of mechanical skills. Working knowledge of principles of vacuum technology.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Speaking in front of groups. Strong time management skills. Self-starter.
- Demonstrated leadership and program management skills.
- Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
- Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Provide verification of good driving record if servicing customer offsite.
