Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Vision)

Specialist professional individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the area of Pharmaceutical / Biological Process.

What You'll Work On
- As the Specialist in the Pharmaceutical / Biological Process Sub-Function, considered as highly experienced and knowledgeable resource within the organization in implementing and maintaining pharmaceutical / biological processes
- Calculates and organizes all data for complex process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations
- Models processes and units operations.
- Ensures proper sequence of operation and prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.
- Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity.
- Services, troubleshoots, and solves engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
- May be responsible for corrective and preventive actions and investigation management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field
- Candidates must have minimum 5 years machine vision engineering work experience, preferably in a regulated high volume automated manufacturing environment.
- Candidates must have minimum 5 years demonstrated expertise with Cognex Insight hardware / software platform (spreadsheet environment)
- Candidates must have a minimum 5 years’ experience with Optics, Lighting Techniques, Troubleshooting / Diagnostics, with demonstrable competency in vision algorithm development and interfaces with PLC / HMI systems.
- Candidates must have extensive knowledge of vision tools such as histograms, edge tools, blob tools, OCR, logic, image processing techniques, job profiling etc
- Candidates must have completed Cognex advanced spreadsheet training.
- Experience with Cognex Vision Pro, Designer and Keyence vision systems
- Candidates should have a good knowledge of data analysis / statistical methods.
- Candidates should have experience of GDP / GMP / GAMP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent desirable.
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible and innovative approach to work.
- Occasional travel for training and project implementation.
