My Kids Place is a specialized therapy center located in San Diego, CA. We offer short-term skill-building sessions in a 1 : 1 environment, focusing on individualized therapy for children with special needs.
Our dedicated specialists provide traditional speech, occupational, and physical therapy services, tailoring each session to meet the unique strengths and weaknesses of each child.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist. As a Speech Language Pathologist at My Kids Place, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to children with communication and language disorders.
Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in speech therapy and communication disorders
- Experience working with children with language disorders and dysphagia
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches
- Excellent observation, assessment, and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Clinical certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
