We're currently accepting applications for part-time Camp Counselors for our Spring Break and Summer Adventure Camp program.
As a licensed child-care facility, we are looking for people who are hardworking, professional, highly motivated, and have great energy when it comes to supervising a group of campers.
Camp Counselors provide direct supervision of a group of children during day camp. Campers are grouped into three age categories (3-5, 6-8, and 9-13).
Our staff provide quality experiences and environment for the children and parents. A qualified individual will be energetic, creative, professional, patient and share a love for working with kids.
Responsibilities : Ability to provide high energy, high enthusiasm, and a positive personality each and every dayCreate a fun and safe environment for all kidsAbility to engage children between 3 years - 12 years of age for extended periods of timeMay be required to walk, run, stand, climb, kneel, sit on floor, and get back upPlan, lead, and take part in various indoor and outdoor activitiesPlan and implement developmentally appropriate weekly and daily activitiesFollow program requirements and standards for safety and cleanlinessCreate and maintain relationships with children and parentsCommunicate effectively with other staff, supervisors, and parentsManage conflict and issues with campers across a multitude of developmental stagesOther duties as assigned
