As we embark on a new offshore brownfield asset retirement project based out of Covington, LA , we are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team.
The Project Manager will lead our offshore brownfield asset retirement project based in Covington, LA . The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and control, ensuring that project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
In addition to the oversight of engineering deliverables (construction work packs, engineering studies, regulatory & environmental reviews, asset management plans), a key success factor for the selected candidate will be the ability to efficiently manage the flow of work to remote (workshare) offices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing offshore engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of offshore decommissioning processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to closeout, meeting or exceeding objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing subcontractors and vendors.
- Willingness to travel offshore and work in challenging environmental conditions as required.
