Position Summary :
The Dietitian provides Medical Nutrition Therapy through screening, assessment and education with monitoring and follow-up of recommendations.
Patients may be seen in an individual or group setting. Serves as a professional nutrition resource for PNHS serving its patients, employees, community and providers.
Education / Experience :
BA or BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited college or university. Completed an accredited internship, traineeship, CUP program or other acceptable route to ADA registration status.
Registered with the American Dietetic Association (RD).

- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Understands and applies teaching / learning principles
- Works independently, as well as collaboratively, displaying effective communication skills
- Supportive of team members
- Works in concert with team members and interdisciplinary staff
- Strong prioritization, multi-tasking skills and ability to handle large workload.
- Licensed Dietitian
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet the insurability requirements relating to Park Nicollet’s motor vehicle violation criteria.
This position requires direct patient contact and demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, discrimination and harassment laws).
This position requires credentialing, following the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines.
This position provides psychotherapy to patients and requires Park Nicollet to comply with the Minnesota Statute A.
Additional Information :
Position is for an Ambulatory Dietitian in the Bariatric and Medical Weight Management Program.
Monday, Tuesday and Friday at Meadowbrook in St. Louis Park; Wednesday and Thursday in Maple Grove.
