THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION

The Project Manager / Scrum Manager manages and oversees all aspects of a portfolio of business intelligence and analytics projects for the Enterprise Data Strategy and Analytics team.

Will develop and maintain a portfolio of projects and works with leadership on prioritization of work. Must be experienced with IT or BI groups serving a business experiencing rapid growth under high demand.

Hiring range is $94,000 / yr to $129,000 / yr. Actual rate is dependent on applicable professional experience and qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Project Management. Manages projects using both Agile and waterfall methodologies.Owns Jira scrum processes to run effective sprints including daily scrums, and planning and retrospective meetings.

Manages requirements, scope, schedule, and service level agreements with stakeholders.Delivers the expected results, drives product quality specified in charter and is familiar with SDLC.

Coordinate all stakeholders including report requesters, IT teams, Clinic & Business departments, Management, & third parties (Vendors and suppliers).

Leads Project Prioritization & data governance meetings.

Portfolio management. Develops portfolios with strategic outlooks, roadmaps, & project level dependenciesPlans portfolio projects, identify the teams delegating the work through schedules, and centralize & standardize project management’s backlog development, and tool sets.

Supports the portfolio with charters that focus on data analytics solutions delivering quality products.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Highly independent and comfortable making project decisions with leadership.
  • Ability to write / participate / lead the creation of RCAs, ROI, Vender Selection, Project Management planning, SLAs, etc.
  • Conceptually familiar with healthcare business practices, and business intelligence and data analytics tools and processes.
  • Must be a critical thinker, with the ability to understand issues deeply, bring options for solutions, and lead discussions, teams, and vendors for resolution to problems.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in written and oral form.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-demand environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible, non-business hours as needed by the flow of operations.
  • Proven ability using formal project management principals to organize work. E.g., development and use of : Statements of Work, Charters, Work Break-down Structures, Contingency Planning, Risk Matrices, Critical Path Planning, Gantt charts, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Minimum BA / BS degree in Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum ten years’ experience in project or portfolio management.
  • Preferred PMP or SCRUM Master Certification.

Pay Range :

$93,850.00 - $140,775.00

We also offer a 401k retirement plan, with employer contributions after your first year of employment. Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years.

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE / hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
