The position of VMI Sales Specialist will be based out of our Naperville, IL location!
Summary
The VMI Sales Specialist is responsible for enhancing and improving service levels on existing VMI relationships. Responsible for promoting our VMI Services to new accounts including rolling out any new programs with existing client solutions specialists.
The VMI Sale Specialist will also develop and maintain a regular scheduled inventory process to ensure the customer’s service levels are met.
What You’ll Do
- Promote and sell new VMI relationships
- Develop a regular VMI maintenance schedule
- Role out all new VMI accounts
- Promote VMI internally within the sales organization
- Work with vendors for new VMI solutions
- Visit each existing VMI on a scheduled basis
- Meet with customer to match VMI inventory to customer requirements
- Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need
- High School or GED
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of VMI processes
- Basic electrical material knowledge
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel and Word
- Highly motivated and energetic problem solver
- Customer service focused
- Excellent verbal and written communicates skills
