What you need to know about this position :
- Housed in a state of the art new facility designed using voice of the customer, our Emergency department has 28 acute care rooms and 5 Rapid Medical Assessment rooms providing optimal patient experience and work flow.
- As a high energy department with 100% of physicians Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, we see an average of 45,000 patients.
- The Emergency Department utlizies Paramedic as a key member of ED staff providing optimum patient care.
- Our Paramedics in the ED have an hourly base rate starting at $22.47. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable.
The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
Updated Night Shift pay differential
- In this position you would be scheduled to work 3 -12-hour night shifts (36 hours / week, considered full-time) with start / end times of 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am with a holiday and weekend requirement.
- With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.
What is required for this position :
- Upon hire, you must have : Indiana State Paramedic License Or National Registry Paramedic Certification with the ability to obtain an unrestricted state license within 60 days of hire
- Within 30 days of hires you must have : Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
Within 6 months of hire you must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA).
