Hours : Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Overtime available.

Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must be willing to float between 2-3 closely located primary care clinics, providing essential support to our healthcare providers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
This position requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the healthcare provider.
- Conduct patient interviews, gather medical history, and document all patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms, including sterilizing instruments and disposing of contaminated supplies.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, collect specimens, and prepare them for transportation to the lab.
- Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Travel between assigned primary care clinics as needed, providing consistent and reliable support.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT).
- Minimum of X years of experience working as a medical assistant in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care principles.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between clinics.
Working Conditions :
