The Virtual Territory Sales Executive is responsible for selling or renewing the company’s products, systems and / or services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territory, industry or accounts.

The focus is on lead qualification and lead prospecting.

This position is part of the inside sales department and will be a remote position covering the Central time-zone Midwest territories.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Call on accounts in your sales territory and prioritize sales activities to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and lead assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth.
  • Research and understand territory growth opportunities for developing an effective business plan and sales strategy.
  • Maintain and develop strategic partnerships with key customers to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business and manage customer opportunities.

The essential requirements of the job include :

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience OR Master’s degree in field with 3+ years of similar related sales experience.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments and collaborating with Product Managers, Outside Sales, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment including working on video and phone and various virtual technologies.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

  • Experience with Excel and Salesforce.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.

Cepheid offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 $85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
