Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Hours Per Week : 50 + hours per week

Solo Miles Pay : $0.65 per Mile with 1100 to 2000 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay : $17.00 per Stop with 25 to 30 Stops per Week

Per Diem Pay : $50.00 per night with 4 nights per Week

Touch Freight Pay : $0.17 per piece with 2000+ Tire pieces per Week

Paid Training

Loyalty Bonus : Pays You $500 at six months and $500 at one year

Schedule : Monday Friday, Home Weekends

Deliver SOLO To : East Coast, Between Maine and North Carolina

Route : Regional

Tractor Type : Sleeper, Refrigerators and Inverters

Trailer Type : Primarily Dry Van. Occasional - Reefer, Flatbed 28’, 48', 53’

Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight : Touch Tires

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer

• Performs other duties as assigned
