Executive Sous Chef

Salary : $95,000

Location : New York, NY

Our client, a first-of-its-kind private members club, is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join their elite team. This exclusive club offers unparalleled experiences, blending luxury and innovation in a unique setting.

The Executive Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional culinary experiences and elevating member satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain their reputation for culinary excellence
  • Hire, train, and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of culinary skill and teamwork
  • Oversee cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment to ensure compliance with legislation
  • Assist with managing cost controls, forecasting and inventory management
  • Review financial targets to ensure they are being met or exceeded

Executive Sous Chef Qualifications :

  • 3-5 experience in a comparable role
  • Expereince in a private members concept is an asset
  • A well-rounded and creative culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
  • Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong financial knowledge
