The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist.

We seek to hire a clinical neuropsychologist to help expand our mission of advancing clinical, education, and research with aging populations .
While we welcome any well-qualified board-certified or board-eligible clinical neuropsychologist, we are particularly interested in those with clinical and / or research experience or expertise in geriatric neuropsychology and neurodegenerative disorders, we welcome applicants who can help contribute to our initiatives in teleneuropsychology and / or remote cognitive assessment, applications of novel digital technologies, and other modern methods of measurement in neuropsychology.

The successful candidates will join a 55+-member Section of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health.
Our Section offers robust training opportunities, including externship experiences, psychology pre-doctoral internship, and several fellowship programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the incoming faculty will be to conduct outpatient neuropsychological evaluations with the support of psychometrists for adult patients with diverse medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions.
The individual selected for this position will also have ample opportunities to contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits.
The faculty will participate in psychologist and medical resident training through both discipline-specific and interdisciplinary training activities, including an APA-accredited psychology pre-doctoral internship program (with a neuropsychology track) and an APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship.
Incoming faculty will be well-integrated with other specialized treatment programs. Faculty actively collaborate with other psychologists with interests in aging research (e.
g., healthy aging, cultural diversity, neuroimaging, psychosis) and physicians within the Department and across the Neurological Institute.
Other duties include but are not limited to representing the program or Department by participating in committees, conferences, and representing OSU at professional meetings and community speaking engagements.
The psychologist is expected to practice within the established Medical Center and standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols), and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center.
Requirements
Applicants must have a doctorate in Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical program, an accredited clinical internship, and completed a APPCN-accredited postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.
Candidates must be licensed in Ohio by the time of appointment. The rank for this appointment is flexible and dependent on the candidate’s qualifications.

Faculty Defined
Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with titles of assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical and professor-clinical.
These faculty will have earned a doctor of medicine (MD), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field.
Clinical faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of three to five years. They may be reappointed to successive terms.
Their principal career focus is the delivery of exemplary clinical care, and may include teaching, and / or research.
Tenure-Track faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure.
These faculty will have earned a doctorate (PhD), Doctor of Medicine (MD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study.
Their primary career focus centers on research, service, and teaching. Tenure-track faculty with MD or MD / PhD degrees may also be involved in clinical care.
Research Faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor.
These faculty will have earned a doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study. Research faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of one to five years.
Their principal career focus is research.
