As a Senior Project Manager for the Water and Wastewater team, you’ll plan, design, and potentially manage multidiscipline projects focused on water and wastewater treatment and distribution systems for municipal clients in the area.
You'll leverage your technical design expertise and hydraulic modeling skills while leading a talented team of engineers, designers, and consultants to bring these projects to fruition.
Your knack for creating compelling proposals, addressing client needs, and negotiating contracts will be critical to your success!
Design Mastery : Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and storage systems.
You’ll either lead a team of professionals or take charge of your own projects!
- Collaborative Leadership : Guide and coordinate efforts across multiple departments and sub-consultants to ensure seamless execution of complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Innovative Modeling : Create, calibrate, and perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems, interpreting and communicating results effectively.
- Business Development : Engage with current and potential clients to expand opportunities and build strong, lasting relationships.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering
- 10+ years experience in municipal water / wastewater engineering or public works.
- A Professional Engineer’s license is a plus.
- Proven experience managing production and treatment projects, along with expertise in modeling water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
- Strong understanding of water treatment / distribution and wastewater principles, along with relevant state regulations.
- Self-motivated and capable of leading project teams to successfully complete multiple initiatives simultaneously.
